Position Summary:

  • Supervise Quality Assurance Inspectors – daily activities, e-time, and scheduling and support. Develop Individual Develop Plans for Inspectors
  • · Track and Trend Non- Conforming Reports related to Nonconformities on the shop floor and report to senior leadership
  • · Improve and maintain Document Control Process within the organization
  • · Responsible to coordinate, maintain and improve training curriculum for the organization
  • · Support Service department in monitoring and maintaining the instrumentation part of the business. Ensure proper data flow to suppliers.
  • · Responsible for Internal Audit program to verify compliance with QSR and ISO13485.
  • · Participate in Supplier Management program through supplier audits.
  • · Provide training to the organization on QSR requirements, ISO 13485.
  • · Lead and participate on Practical Process Improvement teams.
  • · Serve as Quality liaison for shop floor quality concerns and feedback.
  • · Review and write/revise Quality Systems SOP’s on a continuous basis.
  • · Compliance with all company policies and procedures (safety, regulatory, etc.).
  • Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • · Bachelor of Science degree in Quality engineering or related field or 5 years experience
  • · Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • · Proficient in MS applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • · Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • · Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability and a positive attitude
  • · Must demonstrate leadership skills or potential
  • · Familiarity with Quality Systems Regulations
  • · Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • · ISO 13485 Lead Auditor Certification preferred

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

  • · Bachelor of Science degree in Quality engineering or related field or 5 years experience
  • · Familiarity with Quality Systems Regulations and ISO 13485 standard.
  • · Must demonstrate leadership skills or potential
