As a Business Analyst you will be part of Thermo Fisher’s ImmunoDiagnostics Division’s (IDD). IDD develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. With 1,500 employees worldwide, IDD is the global leader in in-vitro allergy testing and also the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.
You will be joining the IT department and work in a team of 5 people who report into Tobias Wilnier, Global IT Business Support. Your primary focus will be on our Sales, Marketing and Service processes.
You will be the link between the business and IT organization; working globally to identify and capture business requirements and translating them into feasible IT solutions that are aligned with our strategies.
Much of your work will revolve around leading IT related projects to improve the business processes. Together with the business organization you will participate in the administration of our existing IT applications. At the moment our main projects within the process area are CRM, EDI, e-Business, BI and various web initiatives.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work analytically are key in this role, as is a structured, efficient and independent attitude to your work.
You should be someone who works effectively and is capable of handling many parallel and diverse tasks simultaneously.
Identifying possible improvements in business processes, to proactively suggest appropriate actions and to drive the change, is something that comes naturally to you.
You are a team player who understands that collaboration is the key to success.
To succeed in this position you must have:
- A university education, ideally within computer science, industrial economics or sales and marketing
- Good general knowledge in IT
- Project management experience
- Fluent Swedish and English
We also hope that you have:
- Process modelling and improvement experience
- Knowledge of the business processes of Sales, Marketing and Service
- An understanding of IT Governance processes and project portfolio management
- Experience of medical device and related regulations
