We are currently seeking a professional and dedicated Account Manager for the Chromeleon Enterprise projects. The prime responsibility of the position is to manage and coordinate the Chromeleon Enterprise projects through the whole lifecycle at customer sites in Germany.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Management Scope:
  • Represent the Thermo Fisher Scientific SPoC – Single Point of Care/Contact within the dedicated Chromeleon Enterprise Projects in Germany
  • Ensure communication and involvement in working successfully with all teams in the project – Sales, Support a. Service
  • Responsible to manage and execute Chromeleon Enterprise Projects in pre - and after Sales phases
  • Responds effectively to customer or project related requests and resolves critical issues and meets all commitments in a timely manner ( project plan)

Project Sales Scope for Growth:
  • Responsible for the identification & development of new CM ES (Chromeleon Enterprise) business in the dedicated territory Germany in cooperation with CHROM Sales
  • Has sufficient technical and business knowledge to present a compelling value proposition to customers
  • Develop and close new business including Support Contracts within the project team
  • Grow ICS (Chromeleon) business in existing accounts – Support the Lead Generation Process and Forecasting within the sales teams
  • Promote products that include Thermo Fisher Scientific hardware, software, and services incl. the ICS (Informatics & Chromatography Software) product portfolio
  • Participates within extended team to share best practice, review performance against targets, and conduct informal training
  • Works closely with Sales Management on developing deals (discounts, terms and conditions) within Company Delegation of Authority
  • Executes project sales activities within defined travel and expense guidelines

Business Relation Scope to ICS Factory Marketing:
  • Maintain and ensure the business relation to factory Business Unit (ICS)
  • Responsible to support product management, sales and market development within a defined geographic sales area – in this case, Germany
  • Uses knowledge of the competition in the sales campaign to develop competitive strategies
  • Understands the generic strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors and develops sales strategies to respond effectively
  • Works with partners/customers to push sales and identify additional prospects

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
  • At minimum B.S. degree in a technical, business or related discipline, or equivalent in training and experience
  • Highly-motivated with a winning attitude, thrives in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize responsibilities according to business requirements
  • Must be very pro-active and be able to communicate effectively over the phone, in writing, and in person within the context of a highly-professional, technical, consultative sales environment.
  • Experiences in software projects regarding, project planning, documentation, training.
  • Interprets messages, resolve critical issues and responds appropriately in a timely manner
  • Knowledge and experiences in supporting, training, presenting ICS products (such as CM, Atlas, LIMS etc.)
  • Proven track-record of the expertise to manage complex sales/implementation software projects of about 3-5 years
  • Experience in work ( implementation service & support) into both large multinational and mid-size companies
  • Fluent German knowledge is mandatory (written and spoken)
  • Very good English knowledge for business use (written and spoken)
