Job Description
Provide analytical, reporting, and strategic finance support to the Ion Chromatography / Sample Prep (IC/SP) Business Unit.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the revenue and bookings forecasting for IC/SP, including for reporting, forecasting, analytics, and business partnering with Marketing and Commercial
  • Provide leadership across functional groups including Operations and Commercial for flawless quarterly operational execution
  • Ad hoc financial modeling and support for Marketing and other groups related to bookings, revenue, NPI’s, promotions and pricing
  • Create and own the business case financial modeling for New Product Introductions (NPI's) along with a portfolio view for the BU; influence R&D, Marketing and Commercial through a business case mindset
  • Identify profitability drivers and communicate findings/recommendations
  • Assist in developing procedures and reporting relating to monthly/quarterly/annual close
  • Drive productivity and efficiency through innovation, process improvements and PPI implementation
  • Perform ad hoc business analysis

Minimum Education and Experience
  • 6+ years of progressively more challenging overall FP&A related experience as a business partner within a matrixed and professionally managed operating company; including 2+ years in a business unit FP&A role
  • BA/BS degree in Finance or other business related disciplines (MBA a plus)
  • Experience with a Tier I (preferably SAP) ERP system, HFM, and SFDC
  • Experience with business modeling and forecasting, including: bookings and revenue forecast modeling; pricing and promotion modeling; developing and articulating new product business case and sensitivity analysis; ad hoc business case development

  • Top analytic, data analysis and Excel/Access skills (SQL/ Visual Basic a plus)
