Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the whole selling process of the defined product line in an assigned region
  • Actively support existing customer together with specialists
  • Prospect for new business and lead generation to continually build a strong sales pipeline (phone calls and customer visits)
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers to enable clear delivery of the customer value proposition
  • Use cross divisional synergies for new business and customer satisfaction
  • Partner with cross functional colleagues to actively identify product improvements and innovative customer solutions
  • Attend trainings and use self-training process to insure correct product selling
  • Deliver presentations at seminars and during customer visits
  • Generate weekly business reports for accurate forecasting
  • Utilize tools like Salesforce.com to document the sales process and effectively manage accounts.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Chemical/technical Degree (apprenticeship or an equivalent degree)

• Experience in selling chromatography consumables or lab equipment

  • Fluent in French with good knowledge in German (verbal and written)

• Good knowledge in English (verbal and written

• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Service oriented personality with excellent organizational skills

• Driver license B and willingness to travel

• Good knowledge in Chromatography with good communication skills

• High level of motivation and ability for self-motivation

• Willingness for self development (trainings)
