Summary of Job
The employee on this position has deep knowledge in the handling of analytical laboratory systems and of the products applied on these systems. Systems are fully automated laboratory analysers like KRYPTOR and KRYPTOR compact, INDIKO, CDX90 but also platforms from partners/competitors: AU series, COBAS... Employee is responsible for advising and training customers, providing product support, and contributing to customer loyalty by establishing a reliable support function.
Employee supports the trouble-free performance of BRAHMS instrumentation and of the assay performed here on. He/she provides support in the pre- and after-sales phase in the form of regular telephone contacts and/or visits.
Employee supports the activities of the sales team in gaining new clients and expanding the customer specific business
Supporting the sales and marketing activities by increasing existing sales or gaining new customers. Providing application support (by phone, in writing and on location) by applying all available and continuously updated information and solutions with the aim of reducing the number of technical complaints (assay related or instrument related) thus increasing customer loyalty; Supporting reagent rental instruments: aim is to ensure the trouble free application of BRAHMS products on the instruments by coordinating the instrument placement, conducting customer trainings, optimising the assay performance on the the system and coordinating service with the service organization. Coordinating the time plan for service intervention and emergency visits by the Field Service Engeneers, taking into account customer expectations and needs and the available resources. supporting marketing activities by gathering product information of competitors, changes in the market as such, and monitoring product stability;
Education or Equivalence of Experience
- Degree in life sciences or technical laboratory background.
- Minimum of 3 years industry experience within sales, marketing or customer service in the area of diagnostics, pharmaceuticals or medical products.
