Job Description
Essentials Responsibilities include:
- After creating SOPs, periodically review and ensure team is following SOP. You own the SOP documentation and review process for ULS-India.
- Communication and building awareness on data trends
- As a Process Excellence Manager you may periodically be assigned specific projects across the ULS-India that aligns with the Division’s goal tree objectives or strategic plan. These projects could include efforts in any functional area in any of the Divisions locations as well as acquisition activity support.
- Training teams on process improvement methodology (CI Method) and the coaching/mentoring of project teams through the Thermo Fisher process improvement methodology
- Serve as a conduit for best practice sharing. Upon request from either Corporate, Division or BU leaders search and identify best practices within the company by close liaison with PPI Process Managers throughout the organization
- Reporting the progress on key deliverables to the management and corporate function
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- A passion for leading improvement
- Good documentation skills
- Strong data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel
- Accomplished written, oral and presentational skills
- Possess broad knowledge of organizational processes
- Must be comfortable working as a team member
- Have excellent interpersonal, time management, decision-making and conflict management skills
- Comfortable in conversing at all levels within the organization
- Ability to perform multiple tasks
- Must maintain high ethical standards to support a professional business code of conduct
- Preferably Lean/ Six Sigma trained
Experience:
- 5+ years experience of operations and/or process excellence with 3+ years in continuous improvement role and demonstrated exposure to key tools including 5S, value stream mapping, kaizen blitz events, as example
