Customer & Service Training Coordinator (f/m)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Customer & Service Training Coordinator to support the team on-site in Darmstadt with the organization and coordination of trainings for our European customers and service team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of coordination of European customer training courses, which occur as well as within an Office of Thermo Fisher Scientific and at customer sites.
  • Front line to answering customer inquiries on classes via phone or email handling customer training/service training registrations
  • Quote/Invoicing of classes to customers and/or Sales Reps
  • Optimizing and managing the operating mechanisms and calendar for the field application team as well as supporting the wider EMEA Service Training Team, to the right degree of alignment and connectivity to achieve with maximum efficiency.
  • Leading and project managing Training initiatives as needed by the business (e.g., deep dive/trouble shooting of a specific problem, pursuit of an opportunity, kick start of a strategic initiative). These projects could be in geography, product area, function, or cut across the Regional functional teams including Service Trainings in Darmstadt with German language skill experience desired.
  • Main point of contact for all internal and external clients
  • Refining processes to satisfy evolving needs of the team and business
  • Executing regular clean-ups of the system
  • Generating reports
  • Ensuring department needs are met in terms of in house training requirements, office room booking, catering training equipment including stationary
  • Service Training Coordinator would have the role of connecting with thrid party vendors on hotel booking within Darmstadt for our Field Service Team


Your Qualifications:

  • professional experience in an administration and / or customer service role (ideally within a sales or service environment)
  • you have completed a commercial training (e.g. vocational training, undergraduate degree or similar)
  • you are a dynamic team player, capable of working on tight deadlines and bring along outstanding communication skills.
  • in addition, you are able to work independently and support smaller projects.
  • Language skills required: fluent in English and German (minimum level C1), an additional European language (e.g. French or Spanish) would be preferred
  • Very good skills in Excel and MS office packages
  • SAP knowledge
