Job Description

Job Title: Business Intelligence Manager Europe, ImmunoDiagnostics Division

Reports To: Director, Business Operations

Position Location: Uppsala, Sweden

Position Summary:

Develop insight to drive the overall strategy and performance for the Sales & Marketing functions within IDD Europe. Provide business intelligence to Senior Leaders across the organization, which enable the targeting of strategic investments- in people, sales and marketing activities.

Provide monthly analysis to track performance of sales across all EU countries, cascading reports to country level where appropriate. Collect data, build data bases, conduct analysis, builds models and develop metrics to support and measure the impact of commercial activities.

Evaluate the effectiveness of Sales and Marketing programmes within Europe. Build standardized reports to analyse the effectiveness of sales & marketing activities, making recommendations to European Leadership team and helping identify trends or market movements which require action. Build insight into potential business cases and track new product launch performance within Europe. Identify and evaluate growth initiatives and new businesses.

Contribute and maintain business relevant input into business analysis processes such as CRM, data integration, operational reporting, as well as building ad-hoc reports & data mining exercises. Work with European Leaders to build a robust AOP combined with monthly sales forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor sales and marketing activities in Europe to assess ROI and guide strategic investments.
  • Work with local & CoE teams to build relevant, business focused reports highlighting any trends or performances which need investigation or action.
  • Deliver concise, compelling, data & insight driven business recommendations on where and how modified business decisions could lead to improved business performance
  • Support the ongoing intelligence needs of the business by developing KPI reporting, structured and ad-hoc analysis,
  • Enable improved customer insight and coordination of customer activities by building dashboards with key external market indicators
  • Help to evaluate sales efficiency by territory, by customer type, by product type and by marketing project
  • Prepare and present results of analysis and reports along with their relative impact(s) to the business to European Leaders and Country leads where relevant.
  • Develop bespoke CRM reports to combine activity and sales data and market tracker to assess market size & share in allergy & autoimmune disease and evaluate new market opportunities.


Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 4 to 6 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within sales & marketing in Pharmaceutical or Healthcare business.
  • Excel (Advanced/Expert), able to programme & build reports
  • Database management (Cognos or other)
  • Able to manage ETMS and CRM systems (e.g. Cegedim, Veeva, Salesforce.com)
  • Teamwork & able to work well with others
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited Institution with a focus in Business, Economics, Finance or other related focus.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited Institution with a focus in Business, Economics, Finance or other related focus.
  • 4 to 6 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within sales & marketing in Pharmaceutical or Healthcare business.
  • Database management experience
