For this site we are looking for a

Senior IT Specialist (DevOps) (f/m)

Your Responsibilities:
  • Setting up and maintaining an automated test environment for our Software products on a large distributed network
  • Maintaining the servers and development suites used throughout the Software development lifecycle
  • Maintaining and developing environments for automated testing of our Software products
  • Evaluating IT technologies and tools to improve product deployments
  • Providing expertise on IT requirements, latest technologies and tools to the software development department
  • Working closely with local and shared services IT teams on deployment of new servers and tools according to enterprise standards
  • Consulting with IT groups of Key customer Accounts on product requirements
  • Guiding and coordinating internal IT projects & programs, either as a team member or a project leader

Your Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years functional experience in IT system engineering , ideally with software development teams in a DevOps role
  • Expert knowledge in systems administration in the area of Windows client and server OSs, Oracle and SQL databases and Citrix technologies
  • Clear knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Apache Web Servers, Microsoft Internet Information Services, Microsoft Active Directory and virtualization technologies, such as VMWare
  • Good understanding of software development process and tools, ideally knowledge of Subversion, Jenkins, JIRA and TFS
  • Well-developed project coordination and communication skills
  • Open minded and self-motivated team-player who has already gained significant IT experience within international companies
  • University education (Bachelor degree or similar) with focus on IT, or a comparable educational background
  • Fluent in German and English
