Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generates and qualifies sales leads building and managing a strong pipeline to fruition
- Generates forecast reports
- Builds and manages accounts in assigned territory
- Increases customer awareness of Affymetrix and is an advocate for its platforms and applications across the Affymetrix portfolio
- Creates strong and impactful relationships with customers resulting in sales and support
- Devises and implements account and territory strategies
- Identifies and communicates product improvements and new product opportunities
- Identifies and mitigates competitive barriers
- Provide market intelligence back into the organization
- May provides after sales technical support and customer service
- Coordinates and/or conducts both technical and promotional seminars
- Initiates and coordinates action plans to penetrate new markets
- Participates in process and operation improvement opportunities
- Responds to internal and external inquiries
- Complies with company quality management systems, policies and procedures
- Provides mentorship, if applicable
- Additional duties/responsibilities according to business needs
Required
Education: Associate’s
