Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develops training and development strategy and curricula, partnering with senior management to enable a high performing organization. Ensures training programs support the changing needs of the business and address new initiatives, with an emphasis on current trends and practices.
  • Consult with the key leaders to identify and assess professional and leadership development needs and performance gaps.
  • Ensure learning content is delivered as designed and make specific recommendations to curriculum owners to continually improve the global content and design.
  • Consult with leaders across the division in change management, team effectiveness, building organizational engagement, organizational design consulting and leadership effectiveness support.
  • Evaluate and effectively leverage existing or new vendor partners as appropriate (cost and impact) to deliver training. Facilitates content using both "off-the-shelf" and custom designed content.
  • Ensure learning content is delivered as designed and make specific recommendations to curriculum owners to continually improve the global content and design.
  • Research, develop and roll out post training support and reinforcement tools to sustain behavioral change and drive improved performance and business outcomes.
  • Administer learning evaluations and assessments to ensure targeted levels of effectiveness and impact of learning programs to achieve business outcomes.
  • Maintain relationships, contact and communication with learning program participants and cohorts for coaching, follow-up and continuity of blended learning completions.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Learning and Development team by identifying ways to continuously improve the learning process and enhance learning effectiveness.
  • Lead cross-functional teams that coordinate internal resources to leverage the knowledge of the full team to deliver best-in-class results.
  • Leverage and coordinate internal resources and knowledge of the full team to deliver best-in-class customer satisfaction levels.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Leadership, or a related field of study
  • 7+ years of experience in leadership development, needs assessment, instructional design/content development within a corporate learning & development setting
  • 5+ years of program and project management experience
  • Strong background developing and delivering training on a global scale
  • Proven experience managing and collaborating with a global team
  • Ability to influence learning culture and create alignment between business goals, behaviors and learning systems to drive performance
  • Executive presence, customer focused, and proven track record of respect and building relationships
  • Proven track record of identifying and delivering year-over-year results using metric-driven problem solving
  • Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills to successfully work across the organization
  • Strong business acumen: understands the key financial drivers and dynamics related to growth and revenue goals of an organization
  • Excellent verbal/written communications skills
  • Self-directed leader with a proven ability to manage/influence across and up into the organization both with and without direct reporting responsibility
  • Visionary, innovative leader with the ability to think strategically but act tactically when necessary
  • Multi-cultural exposure and understanding; global thinker
  • Superior leadership skills including employee development
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
