Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • In House Calibrations – Reviews data from Calibration Technician
  • Vendor Calibrations – Reviews certificate data
  • Performs Record Finalization
  • Generates Instrument Master Record
  • Generates Calibration Test Points
  • Develops SOPs and Work Instructions
  • Writes Change Controls
  • Performs Investigation
  • Executes Corrective Actions and Action Items
  • Evaluates compliance to NIST / USP Calibration requirements
  • Selects instruments based on Process Ranges and Tolerance to assure calibration is scientifically valid


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in FDA regulated environment
  • 4 year scientific bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience selecting instrumentation
  • Experience determining calibration range, tolerance, and frequency
  • Experience performing calibration investigations
  • Basic PC literacy including the ability to generate complex documents in both Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering Bachelors of Science
  • 10 years experience in FDA regulated environment
  • Experience with Maximo asset management software
  • Experience with ProCalV5 calibration management software
