The Senior Manager Category 1 Instrument Service Delivery is a key leadership role within our Canadian product and service businesses. This role is responsible for driving our Unity Lab Service (ULS) growth strategy and delivering service excellence within our Category 1 product and service portfolios supporting our Thermo Fisher Scientific customers in Canada. This role closely partners with our ULS Global Center of Excellence, and NA Service Delivery Leadership as well as key divisional product and service stakeholders to achieve our collective company growth goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve annual operating plan targets for Unity Lab Services Category 1 Instrument services: Revenue, EBITA EH&S PPI Productivity , and Operational KPIs (including CAS).
  • Develop best in class Service Management and Service Delivery teams supporting Category 1 service in Canada.
  • Responsible for 4 direct reports leading national service team responsible for Category 1 (RSD and LPD) field service support strategy and delivery execution
  • Drive divisional sales and service leadership alignment with Thermo Fisher Scientific stakeholders in key market segments/regions supporting our Canadian customers.
  • Continue to foster a Unity Lab Service unified approach to Canadian customer service support across our instrument service divisions, and champion lead identification and funneling on Category 1, 2 and Enterprise Service expansion opportunities to our ULS North America Sales team.
  • Work with ULS Senior Director North America Sales to drive strategy and execution of Canadian Category 1 service growth targets.
  • Responsible for partnering with NAm Metrology manager to develop and execute Canadian growth strategy for Category 1 calibration and validation activities.
  • Responsible for developing and executing annual PPI Productivity objectives and PPI improving PPI Business System maturity
  • Conduct Business Reviews with key Category 1 Service customers to ensuring both customer and Thermo Fisher objectives are met/exceeded, and strategic long term alignment between organizations




Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree in business or related field
  • 10 years experience in instrument service delivery
  • 5 years people management experience
  • Proficient PC skills and ability to effectively use Windows based software.
  • Up to 50% domestic travel
