Position Summary
As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists and FSEs to introduce new products and support legacy Ion Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry instruments. You will identify quality issues and manage resolutions utilizing Failure Analysis, Troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis and problem solving techniques.

Position Summary

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists and FSEs to introduce new products and support legacy Ion Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry instruments
- Provide technical support for existing product lines and interface with vendors and customers to resolve design and manufacturing issues
- Identify quality issues and manage resolutions utilizing Failure Analysis, Troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis and problem solving techniques.
- Manage development and maintenance of fixtures and write test procedures for production and suppliers use
- Write, review, modify and approve Engineering Change Orders, Product Release forms, source changes, part and assembly documentation, and other items as directed by functional procedures.
- Review and disposition non-conforming material
- Demonstrated innovation, creativity and problem solving skills in a fast paced, global environment.
- Participate in outsourcing, cost reduction and process improvement activities
Minimum Qualifications/ Requirements
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3-5 years of work experience.
- Experience in 3-D solid modeling: SolidWorks, Creo
- In depth knowledge of GD&T
- Experience with multiple manufacturing processes (i.e. casting, molding, machining, injection molding etc.)
- Ability to understand and solve complex design challenges both independently and as part of a design
Desired Qualifications
- M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with SAP and Product Center PLM systems.
- Experience with scientific instrumentation and medical devices
- Excellent project planning capability, with proven ability to drive projects through completion and then the support of existing products through the product lifecycle.
- Travel 10-20%
