Specific Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for the localization of EU initiatives (e.g.translation, pricing, brand/product/vendor mix adjustment,…) in coordination with other functions
• Responsible for Contract Support marketing tool development (Program Accounts or large Non Program accounts in country)
• Develops and maintains and understanding of local market dynamics and actively shares the feedback across the Customer Marketing team and other functions as appropriate (strat planning/mkt intelligence and customer needs (marketing planning)
• Responsible for interpreting EU initiatives in accordance with local market maturity and needs
• Identifies and asses threat generated by local competitor initiatives and suggest appropriate responses
• Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
• At least 3 years marketing / sales specialist experience
• Scientific degree / laboratory experience
• Ability to understand necessity for "big picture" approach and how to translate this into local requirements
• Ability to sell the localized approach within the European context to their business
• Broad knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrumentation and consumables, laboratory experience would be desirable
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and demonstrate flexibility with priorities
• Willingness and ability to travel within your specified geographic region, estimated less than 15% travel
• Full driving license
