Job Description

Key Responsibilities: (Bullets)

  • Sales target achievement
    • Based on national objectives set regional sales and resource budgets
    • Support territory team to implement strategy and field tactics in territory
    • Ensure establishment of monitoring systems correlating potential for business, investment of activities & results achieved
    • Work with territory team to regularly review achievement of regional sales against targets and initiate appropriate actions to ensure performance is in line with objectives
    • Leverage key customer relationships to gain market intelligence on market trends and evolution to assist successful formulary listing in timely manner

  • Providing Coaching and Team Development
    • Ensure recruitment and training guidelines are in place for all sales force positions, identifying competencies required for position success and ensuring training delivers required competencies
    • Develop a performance management culture across sales teams and set up processes to establish, communicate and monitor measurable performance objectives
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team motivation

  • Customer Focus and Service
    • Lead clinical sales team to generate demands from physicians by paying regular visits and organizing in-hospital seminars etc.
    • Ensure a customer database is in place profiling customers against potential for business
    • Maintain contact and relationship with key accounts/customers
    • Drive customer awareness and demand via continuous education and scientific promotion

  • Distribution Channel support and management
    • According to distributors’ product format and role, define the channel management target
    • Support territory team on channel partners selection/recruitment/target setting/termination management
    • Monitoring , coaching distributor’s sales to ensure core promotional messages delivered within approved detail aids and in line with POA
    • Establish distributor training system and trainer pool, optimize according to the channel business model

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: (Bullets)

  • More than 5 years medical field sales management experience in healthcare industry
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated, and conflict management and good team work spirit
  • Bachelor degree or above in medicine or related major
