Sales Representative – Kenya

We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our Immunology Diagnostics Division. You will become an important part of a strong commercial team working together to help our customers make the world a better place. At Thermo Fisher, what you will do will have real-world impact, and you’ll be supported in achieving your career goals.

Key responsibilities:
Achieving company targets for sales in East Africa
Effective working relationship with distributions in East Africa
Drive testing volume on Phadia instrumentation
Facilitation and accurate completion of tender documentation within time lines in cooperation with our distributors
To promote good team working within the company as a whole. With particular attention to building a unified, Key Account focus with Clinical Sales, Technical Service and Marketing.
Promote Quality Management within the organisation
Increase market share and grow business in East Africa.
Assist Country Manager where needed.
Effective collaboration with distributors
Setting and achieving sales targets per key account
Drive testing volume on Phadia instrumentation
Increase market share and grow business in East Africa
To manage Thermo Fisher Scientific (IDD) business in line with company policy: ensure internal processes are followed & all relevant training is completed.

Other: Any other reasonable responsibility that is necessary for the company to achieve its goals


Experience/Qualifications/Qualities:
Sales experience
Immunology diagnostics experience
Good understanding of the Kenyan market place
Excellent communications and presentation skills
Result oriented with high energy and initiative
Process oriented with attention to details
Happy to travel extensively within region
Fluent in English
Clean driver’s license
