We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join the business unit, Fisher Scientific, which offers convenient access to the most comprehensive offering of laboratory products and services to allow customers in a range of industries to increase productivity and efficiency. The responsibilities of the Account manager include; managing a portfolio of assigned customers, developing new business from existing clients and actively seek new opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas
  • Prepare offers for customers in close cooperation with Sales Department
  • Ultimately, a successful Account manager should collaborate with our sales team to achieve sales quotas and grow of our business
  • Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
Profile:
  • Successfully completed university degree in Biochemistry is mandatory for this position
  • Post gradual education is an advantage
  • Experience in account management, account servicing, corporate customer service or sales operations or any similar role is an advantage, not a must
  • Proven work experience in laboratory or relevant experience
  • Sales acumen and the desire to begin a career in sales/account management
  • Being able to meet deadlines, proactive approach
  • A pro-active individual, who can work independently
  • Fluency in Czech is mandatory (written & spoken)
  • The ability to communicate in English is desirable
  • Valid local driving license
  • Location: ideally Prague
