This position supports the company’s Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Program for the Pleasanton and South San Francisco sites. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, EHS and Facilities, and will be based in the Pleasanton office.
- Assist with annual contractor safety qualification reviews
- Assist with implementing and advancing the company’s environmental sustainability program
- Assist with compliance to the company’s zero waste policy
- Help track New Hire EHS Training metrics and contact employees about upcoming trainings
- Process Supervisor New Hire EHS Checklists (assign classes in LMS)
- Enter training records (New Hire EHS, Security’s Contractor Safety training, etc.)
- Troubleshoot training emails from employees
- Assist with emergency response team preparation and administration
- Create safety and environmental-themed communications for employees
- Pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's in Environmental Studies/ Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Health/ Public Health Studies
Preferred Requirements:
- Environmental studies and/or public health program experience
