Responsibilities and Task
a. Understand key strategic and business drivers affecting the Thermo Fisher organization;
b. Communicate effectively with the business leaders and corporate management;
c. Provide legal opinion in any legal matter, directly or through external law firms;
d. Support HR structure on employment related issues directly or through external law firms;
e. Govern and follow all litigation, both judicial and administrative, providing regular reports and information, including contingencies evaluation;
f. Control and report all costs and expenses with legal services, including external law firms fees;
g. Draft, analyze, negotiate and review all sorts of contracts and legal documents. Experience with Distribution and Sales Representative Agreement is mandatory;
h. Assist businesses on Public Tenders strategy.
h. Ensure the regular communication on opportunities, legal risks and legal and regulatory issues;
j. Assist and support Legal and Compliance Department with respect to any compliance matter.
Good theoretical and practical foundation within Legal area; typically > 5 years.
Proven ability to utilize skills within various Legal areas, especially distribution agreement negotiations and Public Tenders.
Experience of working for international companies is mandatory.
Track record of managing and interacting with external law firms.
Bachelor in Law degree and required working licenses for attorneys.
Fluent English is mandatory
