Job title: Field Service Engineer, Unity Lab Services
Location: Field based (ideally located near the M62 corridor)
Key Responsibilities:
- To enhance quality of service on defined range/s of equipment
- Assess and report on product quality issues
- Communicate with UK specialist to work together for overall product service improvements
- Build relationship with staff at key account customers
- Troubleshoot and complete repairs, installations and routine services where required
- Give field accompaniment to new staff and mentor where possible.
- Create sales leads while on site
- Promote excellent on-site customer service and positively build customer survey results.
- Adhere to all Company internal and ISO9000 / UKAS 17025 procedures
- Create complaints when they are identified
- Complete company reports using company in-field service software and forward daily work records to the office.
- Monitor of engineer parts boot stock inventory consumption to optimize usage & accuracy of stock levels
- Maintain thorough knowledge of product ranges and services
- Communicate product knowledge to core support teams
- Be able to Identify product competitors working in the territory
- Enhance Thermo service offerings to meet or exceed competition
- Must live in relevant region
- Full, clean driving license.
- Electro/ mechanical qualification.
- Relevant knowledge of defined ranges of laboratory products
- Excellent communication skills..

- 3 - 7 years of relevant work experience
- Strong E&M/Life Science industry engineering background &/or extensive scientific/ functional knowledge of product applications.

- Relevant qualifications and or experience
- Excellent communication skills

- Full driving license
