Main Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with local TC team and CMC all sites to ensure robust compliance management that meets current requirements of all regions;
2. Funnel down any communications and/or training to the relevant personnel in CMC and communicate any issues requiring escalation to higher level;
3. Act as expert and keep abreast on local laws and regulations of the assigned regions, monitor changes and inform key stakeholders;
4. Work within CMC to identify and implement cost savings, e.g. FTA, etc.;
5. Develop and conduct regular trainings across CMC;
6. Audit program rolled out for CMC only; Manage HS classification CMC database and pre-classifications for critical parts;
7. Mitigate risk through proactive process management ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with Thermo Fisher Scientific policies, standards, and applicable laws in the area of import and export compliance;
8. Interface with internal and external customers on all matters pertaining to customs and import and export regulations; Projects assigned;
9. Other supporting works.
