Intern over the Spring 2017 timeframe
The Supplier Quality Engineer I will provide Quality Engineering support to suppliers including audits/assessments, inspection technique support, verification/validation activities, CAPA and change management. FDA CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 regulations/standards focus, to include risk management. Procures materials, expense items, equipment, and services within LSG guidelines. Follows-up on orders to expedite delivery and shipment, as required. Works with qualified suppliers and negotiates and determines best quality, quantity, and price with delivery. Evaluates information to assess supplier reliability in supplying requested material through trip reports, cost analysis reports, supplier P&L statements, supplier visitations, D&B’s quality system audit reports, and other computerized reports. Negotiates with suppliers for return of repair of materials that do not meet specifications.
Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies. Shares responsibility of self-development with immediate supervisor.
