Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assists business/operations in development of key system and operational procedures including SAP, BW (Business Warehouse) and stand-alone applications
  • Provide training and education to users of key processes
  • Development, administration, maintenance and report of key business metrics in support of operations
  • Provides tested solutions in SAP to effectively support operational enhancements and Lean Manufacturing Implementation
  • Assists Lean Manufacturing implementation by providing teams support to reduce waste in SAP transactions and developing Lean metrics. Provides assistance in Value Stream Mapping of information flow for Lean events, and eliminating the waste while providing the necessary information
  • Development and maintenance of monthly Lean reporting “Accounting”
  • Ownership of business group productivity database, including enhancements, reporting
  • Write and maintain reports and queries (SAP/MSSQL)
  • Work with Operations staff to improve operational data integrity, including (but not limited to) cycle count and BOM
  • Monitor data integrity and support data audit processes
  • Strong business relationship with IT and attend regular IT staff meetings

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP and/or BW support role
  • Experience in Materials Management/Operations and/or finance role ideal
  • Manufacturing environment with Lean enterprise and/or lean accounting experience
  • Experience with bar coding preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to train others
  • In depth knowledge of MM/PP transactions in SAP
  • Ability to write and modify queries in SAP, Business Warehouse knowledge preferred
  • Excellent Access database and Excel skills
  • Programming knowledge (VBA, ASP.Net, VB, Visual Studio, Webpages)
  • MSSQL experience (SQL statements, SQL Server Agent, Data Package Design (BIDS)
