The Senior Digital Marketing Manager has responsibility for leading, building and driving the Laboratory Chemicals Products Business Unit’s (LCP) success across web and digital channels. The goal of this role is to make it easy for our customers to find the product, select the product and buy the product, by utilizing best practice in UX and content from a chemists’ point of view across several purchasing websites. The Senior Manager will initially act as an individual contributor utilizing shared intercompany resources to bring about a transformational change that will create a new LCP digital marketing culture and result in new, innovative ways to connect with customers and prospects. The success of this role will allow future development of an LCP Digital Marketing team consisting of front and back end web development, content development, e-business analytics and outbound digital marketing personnel. The role will capitalize on the Division’s technical and scientific knowledge to elevate the Thermo Scientific brand, relevance and customer experience. The Senior Manager will leverage social, mobile and other digital platforms to drive demand, execute brand strategy, build brand equity and create customer loyalty. They will understand and analyze customer viewing patterns and implement new initiatives to increase customer conversions and drive overall digital performance. This digital leader will also align with third-party channel partners to define merchandising strategy on partner web sites. The Director will have a strong strategic and global perspective, excellent collaboration and communication skills and extensive knowledge in digital marketing techniques.
