The key responsibilities of this role will include;assisting in the implementation and monitoring of the company wide safety management system, managing on-site assessments, and providing WHS administrative support. The role will require you to liaise with workers within the company's various business units and external parties
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the Safety database
- Supporting the induction program
- Maintaining electronic and paper-based filing
- Reporting on and following up on accidents and incidents
- Maintaining SDS registers across all sites
- Ensuring Health & Safety Reps, fire wardens and first aid officers are appointed and trained across all sites
- Maintaining emergency procedures across all sites
- Assisting sites with risk assessments,safe operating procedures and competency assessments as required
- Develop, document and implement WHS policies and procedures
Qualifications & Experience
- A Diploma in Work Health and Safety
