Job Description
Within the HPLC business unit we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager (f/m) who will work on the design, evaluation and introduction of MS instruments for LC-MS. This role will require familiarity and interplay with hardware and software teams and several cross-functional teams within marketing, product development, support and commercial operations. To be successful you collaborate with key opinion leaders in the field of LC-MS. You are responsible for various stages of the product development process from defining product requirements to successful product introductions. In addition you will generate evaluation and proof data. The role provides an excellent opportunity to liaise with key opinion leaders and to work on the development and evaluation of new products and solutions.

Key responsibilities
  • Define user persona through collection and interpretation of voice of customer (VOC)
  • Generate experimental proof and application data to support product development projects
  • Define business cases for new product development projects
  • Identify and analyze competitive offerings in the market
  • Initiate and manage collaborations with key opinion leaders (KOL) worldwide to validate new product concepts and solutions
  • Own and manage the product according to the product lifecycle process
  • Coordinate development and validation activities across multiple sites
  • Work closely together with application chemists, R&D scientists and marketing specialists

Your background
  • University degree in life sciences/chemistry
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with LC-MS
  • Experience in product management
  • Familiar with LC-MS customer needs
  • Proven track record of building good relationships with KOL
  • Ability to work in cross-functional global teams
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects with tight timelines
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of time
