Job Description


Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately dispenses and/or processes products using varying equipment. Products may be liquid, solid, or non-chemical
• Applies caps, labels, and assembles products for sales
• Manufactures Certificate of Analysis and Labels
• Sets up, operates, and maintains process equipment
• Performs release operations for certificates of analysis and labels and batch records
• Maintains/generates departmental or company records displaying proficiency in knowledge of Quality Systems procedures
• Performs scheduled cleaning of lab and process equipment adhering to current clean room practices
• Stages product and material for batch work and internal requirements
• Perform routine 5S activities
• Provides training and support to other Product Finishing Technicians as needed
• Provide occasional support to Shipping and/or Customer Service departments if needed
• Any other duties apparent or assigned

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree, preferred
• 1 year of progressively responsible experience
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Able to write simple correspondence and work instructions
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages and decimals
• Able to fluently understand and use the metric system
• Computer literate, experience with Lotus Notes, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, preferred
• Able to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Must use fine motor skills to dispense and package small product
• The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

• Understand and comply with RCRA Standards
• Successfully complete initial training for Hazardous Waste Handling within 90 days of date of hire
• Ongoing training/refresher courses are required at least annually
