We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs (RA) Specialist to join our RA Department in Uppsala. This position is based within Thermo Fisher Scientific’s ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD), which has its global Headquarters in Uppsala, Sweden. The Division develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. With 1,600 employees worldwide, IDD is the global leader in in-vitro allergy testing and also the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.
The Global RA Department at our ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD) is growing and we are therefore looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist in Uppsala. You will be joining a team of 14 Regulatory Affairs Managers, ten based at our Uppsala Headquarters and four at our Freiburg site. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail who enjoys problem solving.
- Lead and actively participate in product registration projects on defined global markets.
- Compile and submit required documentation to obtain registration licenses.
- Communicate with internal and external partners in specified countries.
- Participate in product development as regulatory partner.
- Review and approve product documentation.
- Contribute to improved routines and processes for the Global Regulatory Affairs team.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for someone with a scientific (or equivalent) university degree and experience in global IVD or medical device product registration. Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required. We believe you have experience of IVD products, and it is a plus if you have experience in regulatory aspects related to registrations in different regions, marketing material and other product labeling.
As a person you should have a positive attitude, be both service-minded and a good communicator. You should also be someone who drives work forwards, motivates others to get involved and works in a structured and organized way. We believe you work in a structured way with a focus on accuracy and timely deliveries, and it is therefore essential that you are able to plan and complete your work effectively.
