The Mission

The Project Manager Service is member of the Global Technical Training & Documentation group which is part of the Central Service Support organization. Central Service Support is responsible for the support of the regional service organizations: service marketing, escalation support, product and process improvements, service documentation and training, service logistics and finally service transformation. It also owns the project & change management methodology needed to define and execute these programs effectively and efficiently.

The Project Manager Service is responsible for managing and implementing global projects and programs as identified in the Technical training & Documentation roadmap in order to increase efficiency. Important aspects are communication and change management due to the possible impact on a global scale.

The Position

  • The Project Manager Service reports to the Manager Technical Training & Documentation
  • Manages global projects involving multiple departments or cross-functional teams (Field Service as well as Central Service Support).
  • Plans and directs resource schedules as well as project budgets.
  • Monitors the projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Reports progress and makes sure projects are successful within budget and schedule.
  • Organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project and global alignment & implementation.
  • Works closely with the business groups, the Central Service Support Managers and all other sr. manager functions in the Service Support Organization.

The Requirements

  • Typically requires approximately 3+ years of experience
  • A University degree is required, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrate the required skills.
  • Experience with project management in a multidisciplinary & multicultural environment
  • Experience with global communication and change management
  • Multidisciplinary mindset
  • Experience with customer service
  • Good skills in persuading, inspiring, developing and motivating are required in order to interact with other people.
