Position Summary:
We are seeking a customer-focused Product Marketing Manager with exceptional skills to join the newly created Reproductive Health (Genomics) team at our Bay Area (CA, USA) locations. The ideal candidate feels comfortable in a fast-paced team, learning from and training peers, and is able to drive and navigate change. In her/his everyday job he/she will refine new product definition, develop business case related to new product and business initiatives, develop product development plan, and create new product positioning and launch.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with customers and internal stakeholders to identify product opportunities
  • Responsible of revenue growth for the segment, in conjunction with GMD (Global Market Development) Team as well as Sales Teams.
  • Develops relationships with industry leaders
  • Develops and implements training programs
  • Analyzes market developments, competitors, trends and opportunities
  • Assists in the Development of business case related to new product and business development initiatives
  • Cross-functionally develop customer requirement and claims and facilitate product creation
  • Ensure adequate data to support product claims and requirements
  • Monitors product quality and availability
  • Participates in process and operation improvement opportunities
  • Responds to internal and external inquiries
  • Complies with company quality management systems, policies and procedures
  • Additional duties/responsibilities according to business needs

Required Qualifications

Education: Minimum of a BS/BA is required

3+ years’ experience including minimum of 1 year experience in Genomics Product Marketing or Reproductive Health Customer facing roles

  • Understand complex scientific information

Preferred

Education: MBA is a Plus

Experience in reproductive health, genomics or clinical markets, either customer facing or marketing related activities.

  • Employs judgment in choosing creative techniques to resolve complex issues requiring extensive analysis and evaluation of factors
