As Product Specialists Manager (Laboratory Cold Storage) you will have people management responsibility for 7 direct reports. Ensuring the delivery of the sales strategy of the cold storage portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for delivering regional revenue, profitability and market share growth objectives.
  • Leading, managing, prioritizing Product Specialist Team activities in order to support and drive growth of LPG products.
  • Develops and executes the tactical plans of the regional commercial strategy, as well as EMEA product strategies, to achieve the revenue and growth targets.
  • Identifies gaps in product coverage, and develops corrective measures to mitigate impact. Develops recovery plans for underperforming Product Lines.
  • Works closely with Commercial Team and Channel Management to identify market and customer opportunities in order to maximize market share and revenue growth.
  • Organizes and conducts product and / or commercial training for the Commercial teams, inside sales and channel partners.
  • Supports and facilitates market research into key market & pricing trends and evolving customer requirements.
  • Defines core competency requirements of sales team and works with regional sales leaders to ensure appropriate distribution of competencies to facilitate growth.
  • Supports, in cooperation with Marketing Communications (MARCOM), the implementation of promotional tactics and assess performance of each promotional program.
  • Works with Commercial Marketing to define regional trade show strategies including national, local channel partner and cross divisional activities.
  • Instrumental in supporting the regional AOP planning
  • Must have a passion for our Laboratory Consumables and Equipment products and the associated markets.
  • Experience in industry, academia, or related field with progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and unit analysis.
  • Demonstrated success in forming inter-departmental relationships.
  • Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, with initiative, and good business judgment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Travel time 60-70%
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

BS degree in Science-related discipline, Business or Marketing Management.
