The ideal candidate will be based near a major metro airport hub and will support customers primarily on the west coast of the US and Canada. The position supports Sales and customers in both pre & post-sales contexts. Pre-sales activities include customer consultations, customer site-based demos, workflow studies, and support for scientific meetings. Post-sales activities include customer training, implementation of new platforms at customer sites, and troubleshooting. The position works closely with Sales, Field Service Engineers, and Technical Support. The position requires extensive travel
-up to 70% of the time, sometimes on short notice.

. Report on activities in the field on a regular basis to Manager and Service/Sales partners
. Stay current on scientific and industry trends and innovations
. Accountable for managing expenses, scheduling and tracking activities
. Requires a minimum Bachelor's Degree in Cell Biology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or equivalent knowledge and industry/functional experience
. Excellent technical skill and experience in imaging/microscopy required
. High content screening and/or analysis experience required
. Fluent English (oral and written)
. Valid Driver's license
. Demonstrate clear and concise communications with the capability of interacting with a diverse population of internal and external customers
. Experience in a customer-facing role and/or providing technical and scientific presentations to a variety of audiences
. Advanced experience with Thermo Fisher Scientific high content screening and analysis instrumentation and software highly preferred.
