Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage the maintenance to the employee’s data in conjunction with the relevant Payroll Provider or in house software
- Liaise with HR to compile employee payroll data and ensure proper maintenance with relevant Payroll Provider (starters, Leavers)
- Compile and process the variables payroll data, with external payroll providers
- Performs payroll audit check to ensure correctness of all additions/changes, prior to the final payroll processing.
- Ensure all processes and procedures are carried out in accordance with defined criteria
- Manage Internal and external payments (Arrange payments to third party payroll tax, Social Security and Worker Compensation Insurance, pension etc)
- Liaise with Payroll Vendor and Finance on Monthly Accrual and Payroll Journal
- Timely resolution to employee queries
Minimum Qualifications (must have)
- Preferably 5 years of payroll experience in a Shared Service environment
- Attention to details
- Good oral and written knowledge of English and Korean
- Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment.
- Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines
- Good working knowledge of local labour and tax legislation
- Willingness to learn and develop
Preferred Qualifications (nice to have)
- Payroll Administration experience in APJ countries
- HR operations experience
- Working knowledge of Workday
