In this role you will be empowered to provide customers with clear and timely product support, take ownership of and resolve complex customer queries and to make decisions on behalf of the customer within established best practice guidelines. You will use the knowledge gained from dealing with technical enquiries to devise and submit FAQ’s and Selection Guides to be reviewed and made available through the on-line technical resource facility used by our customers and will identify quotation and sales lead opportunities within technical enquiries.

Proactively developing specialist knowledge of your primary and secondary business units through regular interaction with stakeholder departments and suppliers, you will also be responsible for tracking product related issues, escalating on-going complaints and accurately recording relevant information gathered from suppliers and customers. You will take part in and support new product training and have the enthusiasm to continuously improve the processes you work with and the service you provide to customers.

A team player with a minimum of a science related degree or equivalent, a positive and highly professional attitude and excellent communication skills, you will be able to multi task and prioritise in a flexible work environment, build and develop mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external colleagues/customers and suppliers and be proactive in identifying solutions and preventing issues before they arise.
