Job Title: Senior Finance Manager – General Ledger and Tax
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting the Director of Accounting in General Ledger & Tax, and other strategic oversight and leadership for Finance Department in Singapore and South East Asia
Essential Functions:
Finance Responsibilities
• Oversee the General Ledger and Tax function for all establishments in SEA
• Preparation, approval and communication of all financial reporting materials and metrics for management, statutory, and funding purposes; preparation of corresponding monthly, and annually financial statements
• Responsible and accountable to develop and implement finance and accounting procedures in the related area of accounting responsibilities
• Ensure that finance staff s maintain financial records in accordance with US GAAP and local GAAP
• Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards and SOX compliance
Other Responsibilities
• Drive process improvement initiatives in finance operations
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as and when required
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or a professional accounting qualification
- At least 10 years of related working experience
- Experience in managing teams, able to drive and lead a team
- Good communications skills
- Must be meticulous and a team player
- Strong English skills essential
