Organisation:
The Contract Administrator reports hierarchically to the Customer Care Center Manager.

Objective of the position:
The Contract Administrator ensures that the customers are approached with a contract proposal with the objective of increasing the sales in conformity with the established annual budget. This applies to new contracts but also to the extension of existing contracts.


Job description:
* Responsible for the preparation and proposal of service contracts to customers.
* Invoice received contracts in SAP and transfer to the planning for maintenance scheduling.
* Close contact with the Sales Department in connection with the sale of contracts contemporaneously with tool.
* Responsible for informing the customers about the “life cycle process” in particular in combination with contracts.
* Make use of the authorisation matrix with regard to discounts on service contract proposals.
* Consult fellow Contract Coordinators in Europe about policy and/or improvements/adjustments with regard to contracts multiple times a year.
* Responsible for a timely extension of existing contracts.


Internal and external communication:

Internal

  • With employees of all departments about all matters related to contracts with the objective of rendering clear to everybody what the contract comprises precisely, etc.
    E.g. Sales Department, Planning, Finance, Service Invoicing.
  • With the Customer Care Center Manager specific matters related to contracts, discounts, pricing, agreements, etc. with the objective of gaining clarity as to how the customer can best be served.
External

  • With foreign colleagues/team leaders and/or business unit directors about special questions related to pricing/agreements/special discounts, etc. related to contracts with the objective of gaining clarity and being able to best serve the customer.
  • With customers about contract related matters with the objective of best serving the customer and eventually proposing/selling a contract.

Minimum requirements/qualifications:
  • Swedish, Finnish and English, good through the spoken and written word
  • PC skills, at least the Windows Office package and SAP preferred
  • Customer service experience
  • Minimum of Gymnasium education

Absolutely required criteria:
  • Commercial attitude & sales negotiating skills
  • Good communicative skills, verbally and in written, with people from various levels and disciplines within the Thermo organisation and the organisation of the customer
  • Work under the pressure of a budget
  • Very customer-oriented work attitude/approach
  • Team player
  • Insight in figures
  • Able to work accurately and independently
  • Well-practised administratively
