Job Description
  • Troubleshoot invoices accurately and efficiently throughout the month utilizing AS 400 and Oracle EBS
  • Research and resolve supplier disputes and issues. Resolution to include root cause analysis and proactive steps to mitigate future issues.
  • Comply with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Adhere to contractual payment terms to ensure smooth operation of the business while maximizing cash flow.
  • Support customer inquiries either by mail or phone.
  • Analyze and reconcile supplier statements.
  • Seek reimbursement from vendors and ensure necessary transactions are properly recorded.
  • Prepares resolution of rejects and records appropriate data in the Oracle AP system
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Experienced with AS400, Oracle, JD Edwards Financial Software a plus
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be detail oriented as well as exhibit strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional and customer focused with attention to detail.
  • Experience in a corporate setting a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills in Excel, MS Word.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams from different areas
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years’ work experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse packages and relational databases are a plus.

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

  • Associates degree in accounting, business or related field strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years specific accounts payable experience in fast paced environment.
  • Professional and customer focused with attention to detail.
  • Need to be able to process large volumes of information efficiently.

  • Excellent computer skills in Excel, MS Word
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in English
