Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a disciplined workforce that adheres to all procedures, work instruction documents, Gmp, safety and other regulatory requirements
  • Simplify complex processes; getting more out of fewer resources; understand how to separate and combine tasks into efficient workflow
  • Develop direct reports by providing clear, challenging tasks and assignments; provide developmental feed back
  • Responsible for proper training and monitoring the productivity of team members on the production floor
  • Direct team members through establishing direction; distribute workload; clear communication
  • Direct the daily workload to ensure schedule adherence while managing utilization and efficiency
  • Ensure paperwork is filled out properly and completed within 24 hours of product being finished on the production floor
  • Improve the production process by utilizing the tools outlined in PPI (Practical Process Improvement)
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly department (5S)
  • Work with quality and engineering to identify potential and pre-existing quality issues and / or concerns
  • Monitor and order on hand quantity of supplies
  • Stage upcoming assembly jobs

Will also be back up for the following:

  • Reviewing of stock report
  • Creating and printing jobs in M2M
  • Printing labels
  • Issuing material to jobs
  • Entering information into shipping program

Desired Qualifications

  • M2M (Made 2 Manage) experience
  • Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Advanced verbal / written communication skills
  • Ability to mentor, train, motivate and coach
  • Ability to delegate
  • Ability to identify waste and improve processes
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Required Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 2 year post high school education or applicable industry experience required
  • 1 year experience leading a team in a professional work environment
