Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•All duties and responsibilities of an Associate Material Handler.
•Cross-trained in at least two interdepartmental processes of the following specific roles and others as assigned:
•Responsible for reject material movement and processing accurately and timely.
•Responsible for scheduling appropriate freight carriers to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
•Process daily FedEx / UPS / DHL shipments.
•May require employee to be certified to drive forklift and/or truck driving.
•Verification of country of origin.
•Responsible for running reports.
•Responsible for following proper document retention policies.
•Create / update functional procedures as necessary.
•Projects and other duties as assigned.


Specific Scope Data
•Responsible for Kanban system management.
•Order packaging supplies.
•Reviews PO’s to ensure setup is done correctly in SAP and able to track status.
•May require employee to be certified to handle, package and ship hazardous materials.
•Responsible to comply with general safety and housekeeping in warehouse, shipping and receiving areas.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Minimum 3 to 5 years as an Associate Material Handler or in a comparable warehouse/shipping/receiving environment.
•At least one year of manufacturing experience beneficial.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions
•Consistently have met or exceeded all performance factors Set for a Material Handler I.
•Proven interpersonal, customer service and phone skills.
•Proven organizational skills
•Proven attention to detail and follow up skills.
•Proven decision making and problem solving skills
•Ability to work independently and prioritize work schedule.
•Proven understanding of the Manufacturing Work Order and Inventory Control systems.
•Demonstrated knowledge of computers and basic SAP skills.
•Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, etc shipping systems, Excel, Word, and SAP required.
