We are a research, development and production site in Bremen, currently with about 360 employees, whose “high -end” measurement and analysis instruments (mass spectrometers) are used in research and science worldwide. Our innovative products in the fields of Life Sciences MS and Inorganic MS as well as trace analysis are among the leading products globally in their respective markets.

For this location we are looking for a
Technical/application support (f/m)
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for our Thermo Fisher LSMS instruments worldwide.
- Optimize processes for the installation and service of our instruments
- Participate in Research projects as the interface for our Service organization to ensure the serviceability of our products.
- Attend and coordinate new product introductions
- Develop training concepts, materials, including e-learning modules, and conduct training for Service engineers.
- Write factory communications, preventive maintenance documentation and maintain this information on the support web site.
- International installation and repair visits in support of the service organization.
- Fault analysis and definition of corrective actions in conjunction with our internal departments (Quality, R&D, Parts&Repair).
- Tracking and documenting of software problems.
- Support in testing our LSMS instruments in the test field.
- Participation in projects to optimize internal processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or above in physics, electronics, chemistry, biology or equivalent qualificatioin
- At least 3 years working experience with LC MS systems preferable in Life Science
- Excellent English communication skills , written and spoken
- Self-driven, structured and systematic work habits
- Problem solving skills and solutions-oriented
- Willing to travel for service and installation jobs worldwide
