Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, define and document the Commercial business needs ensuring they are successfully delivered
  • Identify, define and document business process and analyze current business processes to identify potential opportunities for improvement and alignment
  • Engage in the deployment & management of the global CRM program (preference SFDC knowledge and skills)
  • Engage in the deployment & management of the Data Warehouse (preference for Informatica, Cognos, PowerBI knowledge and skills)
  • Support for the Master Data Management capabilities and processes
  • Work on projects that may involve engagment across multiple sites, business units, divisions, geographies, and cultures
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrates self-discipline and motivation in all aspects of job performance
  • Experience with Business Process Modeling methodologies and practices
  • Able to complete assignment with minimal direction (self-starter)
  • Must be able to work in a high-pressure team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to business critical challenges and needs
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into clear business requirements
  • Maintains excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of partners (executives, managers, subject matter experts, etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office technologies
  • Experience with development life cycle methodologies including waterfall and Agile development preferred
  • Demonstrate Thermo Fisher Scientific values – Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement

Preferred Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Experience deploying and managing SFDC capabilities
  • Experience with Master Data Management methodologies and tools
  • Experience deploying and using data and reporting tools such as Informatica, Cognos, PowerBI and RoamBI
  • A3 Problem Thinking
  • Lean Methodologies

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Commercial capabilities (CRM/SFA, CPQ, sales hierarchies and alignments, sales data reporting, analytics, etc.)
