Responsibilities:

  • Develops new business within geographic territory & assigned clients
  • Develops strategies and implements plans to grow profitable sales
  • Develops & Motivates Sales team to achieve desired results consistently
  • Follows up diligently on leads received from other areas of the organization
  • Responsible for preparation of Sales Forecasts
  • Implement the Quarterly Rolling Sales Plan communicated by the Sales Manager
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with multiple customer departments (purchasing, research, engineering, piloting/process & production.)
  • Achieves annual sales and gross margin targets; operates within expense budget guidelines & policies
  • Functions as a segment expert; understands market issues & trends impacting the designated segment of the market & brings Strategic direction to business in assigned territory
  • Identify new key accounts, distributor/channel partners and direct trade opportunities
  • Adheres to Lead management process and closure targets
  • Responsible for Account Receivables/Collection targets for the area
  • Implementation of Credit Control policies
  • Provides accurate information of new & existing contacts to the mail list team
  • Communicates effectively with internal & external customers
  • Submission of prescribed reports
  • Responsible for Distributor Management and Direct Selling, including their accounts reconciliation
  • Demonstrate inter functional collaboration within the business to enrich Customer and Thermo experience & satisfaction

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be results oriented, assertive and self – motivated, possess strong organizational skills to be able to achieve goals consistently
  • Must possess professional selling and presentation skills to be able to influence multiple levels at customer’s organization
  • Must possess the technical aptitude to be able to grasp complex product applications
  • Must have excellent negotiation skills to close sales and meet gross profit targets
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively with customers, customer service and different levels of internal and external customers
  • Must have analytical skills and intellectual ability to develop ideas, products and solutions, apply creative thinking, prepare a business plan and report quantitative data
  • Must have decision-making ability to perceive and evaluate alternatives, analyze impact of decisions before executing them, and implement decisions with appropriate evidence and rationale
