Job Title: Web Analyst
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Reports to: Manager, Marketing Analytics, Biosciences Division

Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst, Digital Marketing will be responsible for providing information and insights regarding customers, markets, and campaign effectiveness, to measure performance and support business decisions for the Life Sciences Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for pulling, monitoring, and analyzing metrics to gain insights and support the marketing organization to help assess tactic performance.
  • Focus on managing several data sources to build/manage dashboard/analytics for marketing teams.
  • Plan and manage various research projects, and work closely with businesses and senior management to interpret findings.
  • Identify revenue and lead opportunities based on quantitative analysis of transactional, web and
  • behavioral data.
  • Formulate segmentation, targeting, and messaging strategies to increase customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.
  • Build and manage a marketing dashboard that portrays key performance indicators for campaigns and different marketing channels.
  • Assist marketing with standard reporting, business reviews, building new reports and tools, maintaining systems infrastructure, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Analyze marketing metrics to identify cause-effect relationships between marketing actions and financial outcomes to increase profitability.
  • Derive insights into customer behavior and preferences based on customer data analysis.
  • Work with marketing managers to identify opportunities and analyze risk within the business.
  • Evaluate and improve internal tools and processes.
  • Monitor and track campaign, tactic, and channel performance.
  • Perform complex quantitative and qualitative analysis for business processes or projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3 yrs. or more in web analytics (working with Google analytics and Omniture.
  • Experience working with multiple datasets and analyzing web pages.
