Position Summary:
Develop the recruitment strategy, under the leadership of Regional and Global TA leads and China HR lead, and ensure it is achieved by rigorously managing the end to end recruitment process to fulfil recruitment needs to support rapid business growth. Build and lead a high performing recruiting team to drive people and organisational capability through recruitment of talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop talent acquisition strategy to support business growth
- Effectively integrate, optimise and manage recruitment processes and standards to continually improve recruitment efficiency and effectiveness
- Advise, educate & train Hiring Managers on recruitment process, procedures and interview skills ensuring the process compliance and hiring quality
- Develop diverse sourcing channels and build a strong talent pipeline to fulfil hiring demands in a timely and cost effectiveness manner
- Work closely with the regional/global talent acquisition leads to identify, evaluate, select and manage high performing external recruitment partners
- Collaborate regional/global recruitment marketing team to promote Thermo Fisher employee value proposition in China market; Define and customise selling messages delivered to applicants
- Build strong relationships with leadership team, hiring stakeholders and HR business partners on the development of sourcing & recruitment plan and hiring profiles to meet overall business objectives
- Establish rigorous progress monitoring and management mechanism by using lean leadership methods etc. Closely monitor and manage recruitment progress against defined KPIs and generate regular status reports for the region
- Manage the research of external marketplace/industry trends and provide external marketplace analysis to the HR Lead, recruiting team and stakeholder group
- Provide leadership to the talent acquisition team and drive continuous development and focus to effectively support organisational growth
- Participate actively and contribute positively to organisational initiatives
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years recruitment and 8 years team management experiences (open to various industry but Life Sciences/Tech/ Biotech/ Engineering and/or Manufacturing environment preferred)
- Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate well across all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong team building, people development, leadership and coaching skills
- Ability to work within a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment with versatility to adapt well
- Ability to navigate through a complex and matrix organisation
- Passion, energy and desire to have an impact on an organisation
- Strong customer allegiance
- Good understanding of employment factors and ability to sell organisational values
- Strong written and spoken English and Mandarin preferred
