Position Summary:
The Planning & Data Support role will be responsible for the execution of all admin and security tasks for the Hyperion Planning system under supervision of the manager of Hyperion Planning. Furthermore this role will work closely with the Revenue and EDW lead to maintain data integrity across reporting systems and to improve underlying data integrity processes.
Responsibilities
- Execution of admin and security tasks for Hyperion Planning applications
- Maintenance of product hierarchy data integrity between financial reporting systems Hyperion Planning, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Corporate Management Reporting (CMR)
- Partnering with Commercial Operations to ensure alignment of mapping across reporting systems
- Validating the impact of master data changes on various stakeholders (including Division Analysts, Group Analysts, Commercial Analysts and Systems teams)
- Ensuring proper and timely implementation and communication of changes in Planning, EDW and CMR master data
- Support the Revenue Lead and the Cost & Inventory Lead to respond to and resolve data integrity inquiries and issues
- Documenting and enhancing of existing data maintenance and integrity processes
- Creating and maintaining a change log for master data changes in Hyperion Planning, EDW and CMR
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in management reporting systems
- Understanding of data mining, systems setup and management reporting
- Understanding of finance, accounting and impact to reporting systems
- Bachelor in Finance/Accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior system admin and security experience is considered an advantage
- Experience with Hyperion Planning, EDW, E1, SAP or similar systems are considered an advantage
- Natural bias towards continuous process improvement
