Job Description

The Senior Supply Chain Operations Analyst will exhibit excellent analytical abilities, creative problem solving skills and strong planning and organizing capabilities. Additionally they must have excellent leadership, and have the ability to work with all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have background in data analytics with a hands-on approach and a passion for understanding both the business and the technical aspects of the analyses and projects they lead.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop dashboards using Access, Excel, and SQL
  • Define, develop and run tools and analyses focused on inventory (including excess and obsolescence), Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP), Service Level, Backorder, Demand Planning, Capacity Planning, Master Scheduling and ad hoc analyses and reporting
  • Work with Supply Chain Planners, Operations Supervisors, Distribution Leads, Inventory Control and other various business groups (e.g. IT) to establish analytics and / or a sound business case for projects
  • Perform analysis and reporting (e.g. inventory drivers, forecasts, demand planning)
  • Define project scope and deliverables including project estimation, definition, resource estimation, budget management, and scheduling
  • Coordinate activities and manage dependencies across various functional teams to support a highly collaborative work environment
  • Communicate key risks and issues to management and sponsors at all levels of the organization, and complete risk planning activities to mitigate and/or eliminate them

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
  • 5 years of analytics experience
  • Strong SAP (or equivalent ERP system) experience with modules such as SD, MM/PP, FICO (APO knowledge preferred by not required)
  • Hands-on experience with business intelligence reporting tools such as Cognos, SAP Business Objects, SQL Reporting Services
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Visio and SQL
  • Strong tactical, strategic thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to achieve big picture objectives while paying attention to details
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function in a team-oriented environment and influence staff, colleagues, and superiors

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Supply Chain S&OP packages / tools (e.g. Kinaxis, Logility, Infor, Demantra, Demand Solutions)
  • Experience in a regulated GMP environment
