Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure all IS SOPs are followed and IT Support documentation are available to deliver an IT service in accordance with the regulations governing our business. Ensure all IT equipment is accounted for and maintain an asset register of all IT equipment both on or off site, including spare equipment and that which is yet to be assigned to a user. Ensure all service systems archives are correctly labelled, logged and stored for easy retrieval in an environment that protects the media from damage and destruction. Update all user access lists as directed by the Line Manager and ensure all new and redundant user accounts are updated in accordance with the associated SOP. Report any known failures or suspected possible failures which could have serious impact on business to the Manager. Report any known service attacks or possible service attacks, or security breaches or possible security breaches to the Manager immediately upon discovery. Manage vendors and contractors as necessary. Assist with the installation, inventory control, management and maintenance of the IT equipment and systems for the SG, CN and JP or any other regional site as may be required. Perform helpdesk services for SG, JP, KR and CN or any other regional sites. To undertake global IT projects as the regional lead and ensure timelines and project milestones are met. Remain current with changes in technology, continually looking for ways to apply it in an effort to give the company competitive advantage. Be involved in process improvements in Operations Assist in Operations Department in executing Operations functions.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Diploma in IT with relevant experience
Good working knowledge in IT
Problem solving skills and ability to apply creative tactical solutions to business needs.
Flexible and adaptable with strong customer management skills.
Ability to analyse problems and define solutions.
Ability to work under pressure and to support others within team.
Ability to work independently
Good organisational, verbal, written and numerical skills
