1. | Job Summary | |||
To advise and work with the Directors, the Site Safety Council, Senior Management and Department Mangers to assist with leading and delivering effective Health and Safety Management within the Company. This will include developing arrangements and providing advice in order to ensure ongoing regulatory and legal compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety requirements (This will include but not be limited to, Health and Safety Culture, Management and Employee Health and Safety Training, Contractor Control and Management Arrangements, Risk Assessments, Hazardous Materials Management, Display Screen Assessments, First Aid, Business Continuity, Emergency Planning Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Management, and Environmental Management). To ensure processes and procedures are in place, reflecting current good practice and regulatory requirements. To continuously improve the framework for effective and compliant EHS practices across the business. To identify training gaps, create appropriate health and safety learning solutions and monitor the application of learning to the workplace. To assess site exposure to EHS risk and in consultation with the Senior Management develop improvement programmes. To manage the interface with health and safety, fire and environmental enforcing authorities. | ||||
